GOOD PRACTICE

We’re following all government guidelines and have been actively following industry best practice as strategies are developed.

CLEANING

Our usual high cleaning standards now include a new risk-based approach.

  • Rooms will not be serviced during your stay

    (apart from linen changes for longer stays)

  • Everything we have always offered will still be there for you,

    just in a different delivery.

  • All linen is washed at 60 degrees.

  •  Hand sanitizer will be available and visible at the entrance to

    The Lilac Door, in your room and in the breakfast room.

  • We are politely asking guests to remove their outside shoes on arrival. Sealed, brand new spa slippers are provided, or, if you prefer, please be encouraged to bring your own.

BREAKFAST

We have currently reduced the room rate to NOT include breakfast.

Whilst for many, breakfast is the highlight of a stay at The Lilac Door and we intend to ensure we maintain this for you.

Since covid, we provide a “full service only” breakfast, which is by pre-order, the night before.

A substantial Continental breakfast ~ £10 per person

Or a wide variety of cooked options ~ £15 per person

GUEST HEALTH

It is essential you do not travel if you are unwell or are demonstrating any Covid symptoms (fever, cough, loss of smell)

If you develop symptoms during your stay, we ask that you immediately head home to self-isolate and seek a test.

We encourage and advise all guests to have their own travel insurance.
